Homemade apple sauce is good on oatmeal, too. You can use other fresh fruit, frozen or canned fruit. I’m fond of using Dole’s All Natural Yellow Cling Sliced Peaches in light syrup. A half-cup of the fruit is 80 calories. I chop the peaches into smaller chunks and sprinkle them over the oatmeal. I use the Dole fruit in the clear plastic 1-1/2 pint containers with the screw-on lid. I like this type of packaging because I can see what the product inside looks like before I buy it.
